Gastown engagement photos are so much fun. There is so much variety to work with down there, that there is never-ending locations to photograph. Sharan and Nav go way back. Way back all the way to highschool. Thats right, these two are highschool sweethearts! In today’s day and age, this is amazing! The connection and history between these two is very apparent. They’re getting married this summer on Grouse Mountain so I suggested we do an urban engagement session to contrast the beautiful mountain setting.
Nav is a natural comedian, and had Sharan in giggles most of the time. I swear most of the photos have her cracking up! Gastown is a prime place for a variety of restaurants and we started off our night at Local for a beer and some nachos. I feel it’s important to go into photo sessions fuelled up and ready to go and one can’t go wrong with a local beer. From there we explored the Gastown streets, taking in the beautiful urban scenery, and we finished the night off in some beautiful golden hour rays at Crab Park.
