My philosophy is this: Keep it simple, stress free, and true to you. With my documentary and photo journalist approach, you likely won't even notice I'm there. My goal is to always capture you as authentically as possible. I want to see the real you and tell your true love story.

How many photos will we receive?

ANSWER

For wedding photography, you'll receive approximately 50-75 images per hour. My photography is documentary like and you'll receive a range of photos telling the story of your love. Photos are delivered in high and web res in a private online gallery that you can share with family and friends. A print shop is attached for ease of actually printing your wedding photos!

As soon as possible! Booking your wedding photographer is an important part of your wedding day and I suggest not leaving it until the last minute. For popular summer dates, I suggest booking your photographer as soon as you begin to plan your wedding and pick your date.

Why is wedding photography so darn expensive?

ANSWER

All photography is an art, and creating art takes a lot of practise, experience and love. On top of that, I am self employed, which means I must pay my taxes and health benefits. I'm a professional so I have top gear, multiple cameras, lenses and accessories (including a giant bag of clear umbrellas incase of rain), insurance and knowledge. But this is the big one... I also edit every single photo to my cohesive style that you love before it gets delivered to you, so even though you may have booked me for only 8 hours, I'll work on your photos for 30+ more. THIS is why we charge what we do.

On average weddings can take up to 12 weeks depending on the time of year. Engagement and lifestyle family sessions have a 3-4 week turnaround. I always guarantee preview images of your day within 72 hours.

Yes, I love adventure! I am based primarily out of Vancouver, splitting my time between the city and Whitehorse, Yukon. If you'd like to book me for a wedding located outside of the Fraser Valley, travel cost will be billed. I am also available for destination weddings at an all inclusive flat rate.
